| About Training and Placement |
Placement and Training Cell is headed
by Dr.P.Rajamani. The
cell has been provided with complete infrastructure for
effective functioning of the cell. The cell is sensitized to
function all through the year towards arranging placement and
training opportunities for the students.
Reputed
industrial houses across the country visit our institute
regularly for the campus recruitment programmes. Our
pioneering efforts have brone fruits in achieving
academic-industrial rapport and we are proud that our students
are absorbed by leading giants in the industrial
firmament. Training activities are organized for
preparing the prospective students for the campus selection
programmes.
The cell is designed to function with a
high degree of professionalism. It provides almost
instantaneous data to the corporate sector with regard to the
candidates available for consideration towards placement in
accordance with the prescribed requirements. Indeed, we have
been appreciated more often by the industrial houses for this
special feature embedded in our work philosophy.
The placement
cell manages its activities collectively by the students and
all Head of Departments. The Staff coordinators support
in all the PTC activities. The Placement cell has adopted an
effective communication system to keep the students informed
about potential job opportunities and guide from time to time.

With the mission of achieving 100%
placement for our students through our dedicated work
attitude, we are determined to make the dreams of placement
true. Training and Placement cell arranges and coordinates
various programmes that aim at moulding our students so as to
meet the industry expectations in career building and in-turn
bring laurels to the parent institution. Cell takes care
of honing the minds of our students to face the
competitive world with courage and confidence.
Placement
Cell activities includes
- Organizing and coordinates Campus
Placement Program, to fulfill its commitment of a job to
every aspirant.
- Organizing training sessions aiming
at making the student community employable.
- Nurturing cordial relationship with
the Industries, invite them for Campus recruitment drives,
organizing technical seminars, workshops and other technical
sessions. Industry personnel are invited periodically to
enrich the knowledge base of our student community with the
latest technological innovations and industry practices.
- Promotes career counseling through
guidance lectures by suitable corporate representatives.
- Maintaining updated database and
job profile, recruitment pattern of the companies and thus
helps each student analyze and prepare their mind set. The
department has in its active file a database a voluminous
record of corporates.

career interest through individual expert counseling.
